England's pace bowler Jofra Archer, who is not part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, was seen in action for the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) XI against his county time Sussex in Alur.

The Sussex men's first team is in Bangalore for their pre-season tour ahead of the County Championship which is scheduled to kick off from April 5.

The club shared a few clips from from the contest from Day 2 on Friday with Archer turning out for KSCA XI.

In a video shared by Sussex County, Archer can be seen dismissing Top Aslop and he also was seen in a hurdle with his other KSCA XI teammates.

The 28-year-old Archer has been out of professional cricket since May 2023, having suffered an extended issue to his elbow stress fracture while playing for Mumbai Indians in the IPL.

Archer was picked up by the five-time champions Mumbai at the mega auction in 2022 for a whopping price of INR 8 crore but he remained absent from the entire season due to injury issues.

He returned to the IPL in the 2023 season to represent Mumbai Indians for the first time but managed to feature in just four matches before heading back home due to elbow injury problems.
