Former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Kamran Akmal has issued a public apology following his disrespectful remarks about Indian bowler Arshdeep Singh that created a massive controversy.
Akmal came up with irritating remarks during a panel discussion over the India vs Pakistan match that led to a massive outrage, especially from former India spinner Harbhajan Singh.
Akmal ended up receiving massive backlash for his comments about Arshdeep's religion and his racist comments ended up hurting heavy sentiments among the Sikh Community and the broader public.

I deeply regret my recent comments and sincerely apologize to @harbhajan_singh and the Sikh community. My words were inappropriate and disrespectful. I have the utmost respect for Sikhs all over the world and never intended to hurt anyone. I am truly sorry. #Respect #Apology
