KKR vs RCB, IPL 2024: Virat Kohli was seen expressing his anger heavily after he was given out by the third umpire during the IPL 2024 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Sunday, April 21.
Kohli was left fuming and showed his displeasure by arguing with the umpires before heading back to the pavilion for 18 runs in seven balls.
The instance took place early in RCB's run chase when Harshit Rana came up with a surprising delivery on the very first ball of the second over.
He bowled a low full toss which initially looked like an over-the-waist no ball but successfully got the better of Kohli by taking the catch himself.

According to the 3rd umpire, Virat Kohli was outside his crease.

The on-field umpire decided to send it upstairs to the third umpire Michael Gough who claimed the ball to have dipped and adjudged Kohli’s dismissal to be legal.
Notably, the ball was above the waist height when Virat made the contact but what went against the batter was him standing outside the crease.
However, the decision came as a displeasing one for the star batter as he showed his anger while arguing with the on-field umpires.

He was seen in extreme anger on his way back to the pavilion and even hit his bat on the ground while going towards the dressing room.
It is to be noted that RCB skipper Faf du Plessis too was having a straight discussion with the on-field umpire after Kohli was adjudged out.
Kohli, on the other hand, continued to explain his anger and displeasure with the decision to his teammates and staff members in the RCB dugout.
Talking about the match, KKR after being put into bat first posted a massive total of 222/6 in their 20 overs on the back of skipper Shreyas Iyer's half-century whereas Phil Salt smashed 48 runs in just 14 balls.
