All eyes would be on Venkatesh Iyer, who was bought by the franchise for a whopping amount of Rs 23.75 during the mega auction.
At the same time, RCB would be witnessing a new era under the leadership of Rajat Patidar. Patidar did lead Madhya Pradesh to the finals of the Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament, they took over the reins from Faf Du Plessis.
The Bengaluru-based franchise bolstered their batting attack by including players like Phil Salt, who had a dream run with KKR last year. They also strengthened their bowling attack after buying players like Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood during the mega auction last year.
Apart from PBKS and DC, RCB is the third team who haven't won the IPL title yet.
