KKR vs RCB IPL 2025 Weather Report: Reigning champions Kolkata Knight Riders will lock horns with Royal Challengers Bengaluru during their tournament opener in Kolkata on Saturday. Since the two teams are preparing for their first match, the fans of both teams would also be keeping a close watch on the weather conditions.
The threat of rain looms large in Kolkata as the city of joy has been experiencing rainfall for the last few days. The training session of both the teams just a day before the match was also called off owing to light rain.
On Saturday, when the tournament opener of the upcoming season would also be held, saw dark clouds hovering over Kolkata. The IMD had predicted an orange alert.

There is just one chance of rainfall during the afternoon with a cloudy sky. The probability increases by 4 percent in the evening. So it means that the weather has become favorable for hosting a full match.
Both the teams have faced each other 34 times in this tournament, where KKR has an upper edge against RCB. KKR is leading the head-to-head record by 20-14. It's the first time that both the teams are playing against each other during the tournament opener since the first season in 2008.
