IND vs ENG 3rd Test Weather Update: Ahead of India's third Test against England at Lord's, there is a lot of chatter around the conditions of the pitch at Lord's. Historically, it has favoured seamers in the beginning with spinners coming into play in 4th and 5th day of the match. With the series one-piece each after a historic 336-run win at Edgbaston, the team's first-ever at the venue, Team India heads to the prestigious Lord's fixture scheduled for Thursday with high confidence.

England's dilemma has increased further with not just Indian batters being in form, but with the stellar performances put up by the bowlers - mainly Akash Deep and Mohammed Siraj.

As per reports and pictures circulating on social media, there is a tinge of grass cover left on the surface. However, it will be shaved further. This pitch is expected to stay dry and that's where spinners will have a huge role to play later. Batters have to negotiate the storm on Day 1 as the pitch has favoured seamers in the past till the ball gets older.

The English summer has always been unpredictable with the weather as there will be clouds surrounding the stadium. However, the temperature is expected to soar to 31 degrees (maximum) on Day 2 as per Weather.com. This will further help the batters on an expected flat deck.
