WTC Final 2025 Weather Update: Pat Cummins-led Australia and Temba Bavuma's South Africa are set to unfold a renewed Test rivalry when they battle it out at the Lord's Cricket Ground for the World Test Championship mace from 11 June.
The Ultimate Test will run from June 11 to 15 in which South Africa aiming for their first ICC trophy in over two decades will take on Australia, who have been in red-hot form in the red-ball format.
The Proteas book their place in the WTC Final for the first time after topping the 2023-25 points table and winning seven matches, whereas the reigning champions Australia won five of their last six Test matches.
Just like previous editions, the Ultimate Test at Lord’s will feature Dukes ball, which is known for offering influential assistance to seamers.
Scheduled to run until June 15; however, if any weather interruptions June 16 has been added as reserve day to accommodate full play.

According to Accuweather, the weather will feature intervals of clouds and sunshine, and the match days in London are likely to be overcast. There is a 25 per cent rain interruption chance on Day 2 of the Ultimate Test.

The hallowed Lord’s turf is generally described as a balanced pitch that assists both batters and bowlers to thrive. The Lord’s has hosted 147 Tests so far. The team batting first at this hallowed turf holds an edge with 53 game victories over the team who bowls first.
Lord’s last hosted the Test in September 2024 and in that game, Joe Root slammed his 34th Test century as England defeated Sri Lanka by 190 runs.
