LSG vs SRH, IPL 2025: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bowl first against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Monday.

Travis Head and Jaydev Unadkat are not playing for SRH, while Harsh Dubey has been handed the debut cap. Meanwhile, Will O'Rourke, aNew Zealand pacer, is making his IPL debut with Lucknow.

It's all on the line for LSG as their playoff chances hang precariously in the balance and a win against SRH with a substantial winning margin will keep the aflot in the tight race.

Meanwhile, playing just for the pride, SRH, who are already knocked out of the playoffs contention, will not make it easy for the struggling Lucknow and will be looking to save face and ensure they can finish their campaign on a positive note.

Speaking at the time of toss, Pat Cummins said, "We want to know what we are chasing. Never know what the wicket will do. We haven't played to our potential and want to reach that. A few injuries gives a few chances to the new guys. We have some unfinished business. The team has been great, but we haven't fired. Head is in his hotel room. Unadkat is on a personal reason. Taide and Harsh Dubey come in."

LSG captain Rishabh Pant said, "Don't mind doing any [bat or bowl]. We want to play one match at a time and give our 100%. No unwanted pressure, it is always there. The team has regrouped really well and they are in a good headspace. Will O'Rourke is making his IPL debut.
