JE Sports Desk: Chepauk, officially known as the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, is a cricket ground located in Chennai. It has hosted numerous One Day International (ODI) matches over the years. It has a seating capacity of around 38,000 spectators, making it one of the largest cricket stadiums in India. The MA Chidambaram Stadium was established in 1916 and was originally named the Madras Cricket Club Ground. It was later renamed in honor of the former President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), M.A. Chidambaram.
The stadium is the home ground for the Tamil Nadu cricket team in domestic cricket. It has also been the home ground for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), one of the most successful franchises in the Indian Premier League (IPL), since the inception of the IPL in 2008.

The stadium underwent major renovations and modernization in recent years to meet the requirements for hosting international matches. The revamped stadium now features state-of-the-art facilities and improved spectator amenities.

1. The highest team score in an ODI at Chepauk is 327/5 by Pakistan against India in 1997. Pakistan won that match by 35 runs.
2. The lowest team score in an ODI at Chepauk is 69 by Kenya against New Zealand in 2011.
