MI vs DC WPL 2025: Former WPL champions Mumbai Indians will lock horns with two-time runners-up Delhi Capitals in the second match of the ongoing tournament in Vadodara on Saturday. This T20 league began with RCB beating Gujarat Giants. MI and DC will also aim to start their campaign on a high.

The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side finished in the second position in the points table last year. However, they were knocked out from the eliminator as they lost to the Smriti Mandhana-led side. They had bought four players at the auction last year- G Kamalini, Nadine De Klerk, Akshita Maheshwari and Sanskriti Gupta.

DC were the table toppers in WPL 2024 and directly qualified for the summit clash. But for the second consecutive year, they were the runners-up. They will aim to reach the final for the third time. During the auction last year, they bought players like N Charani, Nandini Kashyap, Sarah Bryce, and Nikki Prasad.
