MI vs RR IPL 2025: Mmbai Indians' star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was seen giving bowling advice to RR's Tushar Deshpande after their IPL 2025 match earlier this week. Bumrah urged Deshpande to bowl with an aggressive mindset as it will help him to dismiss the batter and not think too much about getting smashed for boundaries.

Deshpande was seen paying attention while his fellow teammate Dhruv Jurel too joined in the conversation. The Rajasthan Royals' took to their official X account and shared a video and wrote the caption 'powerful'. The video had gone viral on social media.

“Aur thoda mindset wise aggressive rehna hai. Aggressive in the sense, aisa nahi ke har ball pe danda uda do. But, main na acha ball dalunga par main out karunga. Chal maar le, ek chakka marle, kitna marega? Tu maar, theek hai, phir main aur jor se marunga (Have to be aggressive mentally — not trying to hit the stumps every ball, but thinking, ‘I’ll bowl well and get you out.’ If you hit me for a six, fine. I’ll come back even harder)," Bumrah was heard as saying in the video.

The Hardik Pandya-led side are on a six-match winning streak as they had defeated Rajasthan Royals by a huge margin of 100 runs thus eliminating the hosts from the race to the playoffs.

Mumbai Indians' star openers Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickleton had smashed fifties each and then Suryakumar Yadav and skipper Hardik Pandya scored match-winning knocks and helped the team post a mammoth target of 217 runs.

The Riyan Parag-led side couldn't chase the mammoth target of 217 runs and were skittled out for just 117 runs in 16 overs.

This was their eighth consecutive loss of the 11 matches that they had played till now whereas MI had won seven matches of the 11 that they have played till now. They just need one more match to win to qualify for the playoffs.

Bumrah, who began bowling during the fifth over, dismissed batters like Shimron Hetmyer and Riyan Parag by bowling short balls and left the hosts reeling at 51/5 during the powerplay.
