Nepal team clinched the three-match T20I series to complete a 3-0 clean sweep against the United States on Monday.
The United States posted a modest total of 156 for 5 after electing to bat, thanks mainly to Saiteja Mukkamalla's key 68 and Milind Kumar's quickfire 43. The duo's 76-run partnership in just 60 balls, provided the firepower to the American innings.
Mukkamalla's belligerent 51-ball knock was adorned with five fours and two sixes, while Kumar's unbeaten 35-ball cameo included four boundaries.
Nepal's bowling attack was led by Sompal Kami, who delivered an impressive spell of 3/27 in his four overs. Rijan Dhakal and Lalit Rajbanshi also chipped in with crucial wickets.
During Nepal's chase, Anil Sah fell for 13 runs within the powerplay. However, Aasif Sheikh led the recovery with a tour-best 50 off 36 deliveries.
His 50-run partnership with Kushal Bhurtel for the second wicket proved important. Sheikh's feisty knock was highlighted by five boundaries and to sixes before his dismissal.
Earlier, Nepal clinched a thrilling victory over the United States in the second T20I match at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on Sunday, securing the series with a game to spare.
The nail-biting contest was decided in a Super Over after both teams were tied at 170 at the end of the regular innings. In the one-over, Nepal successfully chased down the USA's target of three runs, emerging victorious.
Meanwhile, in the first match, Nepal national cricket team claimed a 17-run victory over the USA in the series opener of the three-match series at Grand Prairie Stadium.
