DPL 2025: Gautam Gambhir, who is the head coach of the Indian team, was asked a tricky question during an interaction at the DPL 2025 summit clash. He was asked to pick the name of the one Indian cricketer that came to his mind after listening to a particular word, and Gambhir responded quickly.

He was also asked which player he would pick, which defines the tag of 'Desi boy', to which Gambhir responded by taking the name of star Indian batter Virat Kohli. Kohli, who is known for exuding confidence on the field, does fit into this category.

Kohli, who had announced his retirement from the longest format earlier this year, had also retired from T20Is after helping India win the 2024 T20 World Cup, and is currently residing in London and was recently spotted attending a training session ahead of the three-match ODI series against Australia.

When Gambhir heard the word 'clutch', he took Sachin Tendulkar's name, and he had given multiple unique answers in that interaction. When he heard the word 'speed', he quickly took pacer Jasprit Bumrah's name.

After hearing the word 'golden arm', he took ex-KKR batter Nitish Rana's name.

Gambhir then associated the word 'stylish' with India's new Test skipper, Shubman Gill, as he perfectly fits this tag due to the way he led the team from the front in the Test series against England.

He also described Rahul Dravid as Mr. Consistent in that interaction and his ex-teammate VVS Laxman as the run-machine.

When he heard the words 'death over specialist', Gambhir reckoned that since he had earlier picked Bumrah, he took left-arm fast bowler Zaheer Khan's name.

Gambhir then made a funny comment on star wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant's flamboyance and revealed that Pant is always late. He also took Pant's name when he was asked who the funniest cricketer was.
