New Zealand vs Pakistan, 2nd T20I: New Zealand suffered a major setback as skipper Kane Williamson retired hurt after "experiencing tightness" in his right hamstring while batting in the second T20I against Pakistan in Hamilton on Sunday.
Williamson won't return to the field for the rest of the match and Tim Southee took over the captaincy for the rest of the contest.
After the tenth over, Williamson was seen getting attended to by the physio, with him clutching his right hamstring. He was batting on 26 off 15, with three fours and a six. During the drinks interval, he then trudged off with Daryl Mitchell coming out to bat in his place.

Williamson has had a tough past few months in his career, picking up several injuries in recent times.
He ruptured his ACL in the first match of IPL 2023 while playing for Gujarat Titans and missed a lot of action before recovering just in time to play the ODI World Cup in India six months later.
During the World Cup match against Bangladesh, he suffered a broken thumb that kept him on the sidelines for four more games before he made a return for the clash against Pakistan.
He was named in New Zealand's squad for the T20I series at home against Bangladesh last month before being withdrawn on 'medical advice'.
He was included in the T20I side for only two matches of the ongoing series against Pakistan and was to sit out of the final game in Dunedin.
Talking about the match, the hosts put up a brilliant effort after being put into bat first as they scored 194 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their 20 overs.
Finn Allen, at the top of the order, was instrumental as he was the top-scorer for his team with 74 runs in just 41 deliveries.
While no other batter could reach the 50-run mark, Devon Conway (20), Williamson (26), and Mitchell Santner (25) made crucial contributions.
Haris Rauf picked up three wickets with Abbas Afridi taking two wickets whereas Aamer Jamal and Usama Mir ended up with a wicket each as well.
The Blackcaps are already 1-0 up in the five-matches series, having won the first match by 48 runs in Hamilton.
