NZ vs ZIM 2nd Test: New Zealand wicketkeeper Devon Conway brought an end to his Test century drought on Day 2 of the second Test on Friday in Bulawayo. Notably, Conway also crossed two specific milestones of 2,000 Test runs and 5,000 international runs with his exploits. This was his first Test hundred after his 153-run knock against Pakistan in January 2023. Conway's knock featured of 18 four and came at a brisk strike rate of over 62 by Test standards.

In overall 29 Tests, Conway has an average of 39.26 as he has accumulated 2,081 runs at an average of 39.26, with five centuries and 12 fifties. Boasting a best of 200, in 119 international matches for New Zealand, Conway has amassed over 5,054 runs at an average of 40.43, with 10 centuries and 27 fifties.

Born in South Africa, Conway shifted his base to New Zealand in search of better opportunities.

Coming to the match, Zimbabwe elected to bat first after winning the toss. A returning Brendan Taylor scored an inspiring (44) as the hosts were bowled out for 125 runs in the first innings, with Matt Henry (5/40) and Zakary Foulkes (4/38) getting the majority of the wickets.

At the time of reporting this story, Kiwis have crossed the 547-run mark in the first innings with three wickets down. Currently, the final session is in going on with Rachin Ravindra (124) scoring a standout ton along with Henry Nicholls (138). Both batters are unbeaten at the moment, with a lead over 425.
