Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan made a cheeky viral 'king kar lega' remark to hint that the veteran batter Babar Azam will take up the opening slot for Pakistan alongside Fakhar Zaman in the first ODI match of the tri-series against New Zealand on Saturday, February 8.

Pakistan's main opener Saim Ayub was ruled out of the tri-series and the upcoming ICC event as he failed to win a race against time to recover from the leg injury.

During the announcement of the Champions Trophy squad, it was revealed that either Babar or Saud Shakeel will open the innings for Pakistan alongside Fakhar Zaman.
