On the other hand, 11 sixes is the most that South Africa have hit against Pakistan in an ODI innings.
"We played really nicely today. Nandre and Corbin set the tone early for us; we kept the pressure on them. I set myself really high standards. I always look at myself in the mirror to see if I dropped my standards or not. I just hope it keeps working for me. Nice to be back here with the team. The extra responsibility is nice. I haven't batted with a lot of these guys before, so new faces are nice, making new friends, so it's great to be back," De Kock said after being adjudged as the Player of the Match.
Earlier, South Africa posted a challenging total of 269/9 in their 50 overs on the back of half-centuries from Saim Ayub (53), Salman Agha (69) and Mohammad Nawaz's (59).
