Pakistan vs Afghanistan HIGHLIGHTS, Tri-Series Final: Mohammad Nawaz’s five-wicket haul, which included a hattrick, did the damage to Afghanistan. Chasing 142 runs, Rashid Khan’s men were never in the chase and were bundled out for a mere 66 to lose the final of the Tri-series in Sharjah. 

 Earlier Afghanistan Skipper Rashid Khan, with his three wickets through the middle overs, broke the back of Pakistan’s batting line-up, restricting them to 141/8 from 20 overs. Both sides have played each other once in the league stage once with both sharing the honours.

Though Pakistan drew the first blood when they defeated Afghanistan in their first meeting, the latter increasingly got better and better as the tournament went on, and in their second meeting, Afghanistan completely dominated the proceedings both with the bat and ball.

However, a lot of the results in this tournament or at this venue have been dictated by toss, as the team batting first has had a significant advantage over the team batting second, as the pitch kept crumbling through the evening, and batting got harder, especially against the bowlers who have mastered the slower ones.
