Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals Head to Head IPL Records And Stats: Delhi Capitals will be up against Punjab Kings in Match 2 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium on Saturday, March 23.
The newly-built stadium in Mullanpur, Chandigarh which is a new home venue for Punjab Kings, is all set to witness the enormous action in the first match of the first double-header day in the 17th edition of the tournament.

All eyes will be on star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant who will be making his much-awaited return to the field after a life-threatening unfortunate car accident which he met in December 2022.

Pant will be leading Delhi Capitals once again after missing out on all the cricketing action in the last 14 months.
Both teams had a disappointing campaign last year and will now be aiming to kick off the tournament this season on a positive note.
While Punjab finished eighth last year with six wins and 12 points in 14 matches, the Ca[itals were placed ninth with five wins under David Warner's captaincy.

Both teams have faced off in 32 IPL matches so far and the head-to-head battle is evenly poised with 16 wins each.
In the last five IPL meetings, Delhi Capitals have won four matches whereas Punjab managed just one victory which came in the last face-off between the two sides in the 2023 edition.
