"You do not want to miss Prabhsimran Singh's flying catch behind the stumps," BCCI captioned the stunning catch while sharing it on social media.
The moment took place in the 39th over of South Zone's innings when Bhui tried to play an upper cut off pace bowler Mayank Yadav. The right-handed batter who was batting on 31 runs only managed to get a thick edge of the bat and went towards the right of Prabhsimran.
He didn't shy of making a flying effort, showing his stunning reflexes, and held on to the ball, plucking it out of thin air while putting up a full-length dive. He then landed on the ground and celebrated his brilliant catch with his teammates.
The interesting thing about the catch was that Prabhsimran first moved to his left but he quickly adjusted and picked a blinder.
The catch proved to be an important one, leaving South Zone to lose their momentum and were restricted to 303 runs in their 50 overs. They were 224/4 when Bhui was dismissed with 12 overs left.
South Zone after winning the toss decided to bat first as the openers Rohan Kunnummal (70) and Mayank Agarwal (64) put up an amazing 171-Run partnership for the first wicket.
N Jagadeesan contributed with a crucial knock of 72 runs before Bhui added another 31 runs as the Mayank-led side posted a massive score on the board.
