Last edition's runners-up Rajasthan Royals will hope for a title finish in the IPL 2023. The team is still waiting to add another title to their cabinet after winning the inaugural trophy in 2008.
Rajasthan holds a bunch of promising young talent who gave stellar performances in the IPL 2022 and helped the side to reach the finals.
RR purchased West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder for Rs 5.75 Cr while they also roped in England batter Joe Root for Rs 1 Cr, who is set for his debut IPL season.
The other signing includes Australia spinner Adam Zampa (Rs 1.5 crore), Donovan Ferreira (Rs 50 lakh), Abdul P A (Rs 20 lakh), Akash Vashisht (Rs 20 lakh), Murugan Ashwin (Rs 20 lakh), KM Asif (Rs 30 lakh) and Kunal Rathore (Rs 20 lakh).
