PBKS vs RR, IPL 2025: In a tense moment during the IPL 2025 clash between Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings on Sunday, Tushar Deshpande celebrated the wicket of PBKS's explosive opener Priyansh Arya with a fiery celebration, sending a strong statement.
In the 2nd over of the match, Deshpande executed a salute gesture when Priyansh trudged back to the pavilion after falling prey to well-aligned
delivery, injecting a spark of intensity into the contest. Priyansh walked back after scoring just 9 runs off 7 balls.
Notably, this was not an explosive batter's first brush with a dramatic send-off; as earlier in the season LSG's Digvesh Rathi had bid him farewell with a "notebook" gesture.

With playoff aspirations still alive, PBKS are looking to capitalise their chances in this match to bolster their standings, whereas RR are already knocked out of playoffs race.
Summarising the first innings of the match, Nehal Wadhera and Shashank Singh slammed fiery half-centuries to power Punjab Kings to 219 for 5 against Rajasthan Royals.
Wadhera slammed 70 off just 37 balls, a fiery knock in which he hit five fours and as many sixes. The innings was his highest IPL score.
Besides Wadhera, Shashank used his long handle to great effect to remain unbeaten on 59 off 30 balls. He hit five boundaries and three sixes in the process.
