India Tour Of South Africa Series: Board of Cricket Control in India have been picked all-rounder Ramandeep Singh and pacer Vijaykumar Vyshak in the 15-man squad for the four-match T20I tour of South Africa, which kicks off on November 8 in Durban. Allrounders Harshit Rana, Washington Sundar, and Nitish Reddy, who recently featured in the T20I series against Bangladesh, will be traveling to Australia with the Test squad, meaning they will not be available for the upcoming limited-overs series.

In their absence, spin-bowling allrounder Axar Patel and pacers Yash Dayal and Avesh Khan have been included in the squad.

Several players were unavailable for selection due to injuries or ongoing recovery. Riyan Parag is currently at the BCCI Centre of Excellence for treatment of a chronic right shoulder injury.

Mayank Yadav, who made his India debut in the recent Gwalior T20I against Bangladesh after an impressive IPL season, is sidelined again after a setback in his injury recovery. Allrounder Shivam Dube, still recovering from a back injury that ruled him out of the Bangladesh T20I series, remains unavailable.

India A’s Ramandeep, a key player from Punjab who was also part of the Kolkata Knight Riders’ IPL 2024 title-winning squad, has been performing well in the Emerging T20 Asia Cup. Known for his athletic fielding and power-hitting, he boasts a strike rate above 168 and has taken 16 wickets in 56 T20s. Vyshak, the Karnataka fast bowler with experience in the IPL for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, remains an exciting option with 42 wickets in 30 T20s at an average of 20.88 and an economy of 8.29.
