PSL 2025: A video had gone viral on social media, where ex-Pakistan skipper and commentator Ramiz Raja was seen making a huge mistake in the post-match presentation ceremony of the PSL 2025 match between Multan Sultan and Lahore Qalandars on Tuesday. Raza was holding the post-match presentation ceremony, where he mistakenly called PSL IPL when he revealed the name of the player who had won the Catch of the Match award.

And when Joshua Little was coming to collect the award as he had taken a stunning catch to dismiss Lahore Qalandar opener Fakhar Zaman (32), Raja, who heaped praise on Little for his brilliant fielding efforts, was heard as saying 'Catch of IPL' instead of 'catch of PSL'.

Raja was brutally trolled by the fans on social media.

Multan Sultan ended their losing streak and registered their first win of the ongoing season. They were on a three-match losing streak and were lying in the bottom half of the points table.

But during their first match against Lahore Qalandars, they put up a match-winning performance and won the match by 33 runs.

While batting first, Multan Sultan posted a mammoth target of 228/5 on the back of Yasir Khan's match-winning knock of 87, who had smashed six fours and as many sixes.

Skipper Rizwan scored 32 runs off 17 balls, whereas Usman Khan scored 39 runs off 24 balls. Iftikhar Ahmed also scored a match-winning knock of 40 runs off 18 balls and took his team across the line.

As far as Lahore Qalandars are concerned, Sikandar Raza scored an unbeaten half-century whereas Sam Billings scored 43 runs. Ubaid Shah registered match-winning figures of 3/37 in the four overs that he bowled. Michael Bracewell and Usama Mir also took a few wickets.

Yasir was adjudged the Player of the Match award.

Multan Sultan will lock horns with Islamabad United during their next PSL 2025 match.
