In a setback for the Indian cricket team, Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul have been ruled out of the second IDFC First Bank Test against England in Vizag, scheduled to begin on February 2, 2024. Jadeja sustained a hamstring injury during the fourth day of the first Test in Hyderabad, while Rahul complained of right quadriceps pain.
The BCCI Medical Team is closely monitoring the progress of both players. To fill the void, the Men's Selection Committee has made additions to India's squad, bringing in Sarfaraz Khan, Sourabh Kumar, and Washington Sundar.
