RCB vs GT IPL 2025 weather and pitch report: Royal Challengers Bengaluru will aim to continue their winning streak to the third match on 2nd April as they will lock horns with Gujarat Titans during their third group stage match of the ongoing tournament. The 14th match between RCB and GT will be held at the M Chinnaswamy stadium.

After winning two consecutive matches, the Rajat Patidar-led side is currently the table toppers of the points table. They had shown their batting prowess during their first two matches, which they played away from home. They had lost just three wickets when they were chasing a target of 175 runs during their tournament opener against Kolkata Knight Riders. They then batted first against CSK and scored a mammoth target of 196 runs.

Skipper Rajat Patidar was the highest run-scorer as he had scored 51 runs whereas openers Phil Salt and Virat Kohli also made significant contributions and had set the tone for the total. Josh Hazlewood was the pick among the bowlers as he took three wickets. Besides him, Yash Dayal and Liam Livingstone took two wickets apiece.

At the same time, the Shubman Gill-led side would be entering this match on the back of defeating Mumbai Indians in their previous game. They lost to the Punjab Kings during their tournament opener. They were just 11 runs short of chasing a mammoth target of 244 runs in their backyard. They posted a target of 197 runs during their next game and skittled MI out for just 160 runs with the help of a brilliant bowling performance. Prasidh Krishna was adjudged the Player of the Match award as he registered figures of 2/18 in the four overs he bowled.

M Chinnaswamy Stadium Pitch Report:

The Rajat Patidar-led side would be playing their first home match of the ongoing season against GT. Batters will have a good time as the match is being held at the M Chinnaswamy stadium on Wednesday. The stadium is known for witnessing run-fests in the shortest format. The fast bowlers might some assistance with the new ball, whereas the spinners will perform brilliantly during the middle overs. The average first innings total is 167 runs and whichever captain wins the toss will choose to bowl first.
