Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, IPL 2025: Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a mammoth total of 231/6 in their 20 overs against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2025 match 65 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Friday, May 23.
Ishan Kishan put up a show with the bat and played a 94-run knock in just 48 balls on the back of seven fours and five sixes. He stitched a 43-run stand for seventh wicket with skipper Pat Cummins, who remained unbeaten on 13 runs off six deliveries.
After being put into bat first, SRH were off to a promising start as Abhishek Sharma (34) and Travis Head (17) stitched a 54-run opening stand. However, RCB did well to pick two quick wickets before Kishan was joined by Heinrich Klaasen in the middle. The duo added 98 runs for the third wicket with Kishan hitting his fifty, whereas Klaasen also looked in great touch. The partnership was broken by Suyash Sharma, who dismissed Klaasen by 24 runs in the ninth over.
Aniket Verma played a crucial and fiery knock of 26 runs in just nine balls with the help of a four and three sixes.

Notably, 15 sixes by SRH today is the second most hit in an innings in Lucknow in all T20 cricket behind 16 sixes hit by LSG against DC in IPL 2023..
"I think when we (Head and he) played the first over, we thought we got one of the best pitches this year. Somewhere, we have to look out for our small mistakes. We need to take responsibility and take it to the end. Head and I were looking forward to scoring a total of 230-240 only. We had a plan, and we were going to go after it (throughout the innings). The score is good," Abhishek said at the mid-innings break.
