MI vs SRH IPL 2026: Rohit Sharma's status for the IPL 2026 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad remains undisclosed. He missed the last three Mumbai Indians games due to a hamstring injury and has not fully healed, according to a report. The ex-MI captain sustained the injury while batting against Royal Challengers Bengaluru earlier this month. Experiencing hamstring discomfort, he called for physio assistance on the field.
As the pain worsened, Rohit left the field during the next over and did not return to bat. The Hardik Pandya-led team lost the match by a significant margin.
According to a Times of India report, Rohit attended a training session, but team management will not risk his return until he is fully fit.

Rohit, sidelined since April 12, remains doubtful for the Wankhede clash. Although the former captain hit extensively in the nets, team management is cautious and unlikely to take chances unless he is fully fit, the report stated.
The former captain attended a practice session in Mumbai. With two support staff, he completed a light warmup, ran, and engaged in a lengthy conversation before leaving the field. He did not participate in batting drills.
The Hardik Pandya-led squad took a two-day trip to Jamnagar, followed by a practice session. Both Suryakumar Yadav and Rohit Sharma attended, though Rohit's availability remains uncertain against the Pat Cummins-led side.
