IND vs AUS 3rd Test: India skipper Rohit Sharma was brutally trolled for choosing to bowl first after winning the toss during the third Test at the Gabba in Brisbane. It should be noted here that Rohit made the right decision at the important toss of the match and chose to field first under overcast conditions.
But what surprised everyone was the fact that the surface at Gabba didn't behave in the manner it was supposed to be although it did have a tinge of green grass. Australian openers Nathan McSweeney and Usman Khawaja settled in quickly and weren't affected much by the Indian bowlers.
Here's how the Indian fans reacted on social media after Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl first:

Star pacer Jasprit Bumrah was having a hard time finding the correct line and length of this pitch whereas Mohammed Siraj bowled brilliantly to Khawaja. Since the bowlers were seen struggling during the first few overs, Indian fans started criticizing Rohit Sharma for choosing to bowl first.
A few of the fans also questioned his ability to analyze the surface whereas others weren't impressed by his on-field strategies. Due to this, Rohit was brutally trolled online as his captaincy blunders were quite visible. At the same time, the match was stopped during the morning session after just 5.3 overs were bowled as Gabba experienced light rain.
But, post the break the Indian bowlers bounced back brilliantly as they were bowling with the right length at the pitch. Akash Deep was seen giving a hard time to Nathan McSweeney during his first over. At the same time, Siraj and Bumrah too gave Khawaja a hard time as the ball had touched the outside touch and that's why the batter was seen playing unorthodox shots to tackle the swing.
As the Indian bowlers began giving stiff challenges, the match was once again stopped due to rain, and that annoyed the Indian team. Before the break, the Pat Cummins-led side were 28/0 after 13.2 overs, where Nathan McSweeney (4*) and Khawaja (19) were out there in the middle. And since there were no signs of rain, the on-field umpires decided to take an early lunch on the first day.
