He explained that while there were early signs of a hamstring problem, it doesn’t seem serious at this stage. The team expects to have a clearer idea in the next couple of days.

"Whatever we could say about Vaibhav, we have said. He's a very special player. It was looking like a bit of a hamstring issue, but right now, he is looking fine. They've treated him, so we'll know in a day or so if it's anything serious, but it's not looking like that for now," Rathour said.

Vikram Rathour blamed the misfield for RR's defeat

Talking about the defeat, Rathour admitted that fielding mistakes made a big difference. He said dropping catches at key moments hurt the team against strong opponents and proved costly in the end. Notably, RR's Shimron Hetmyer and Ravindra Jadeja dropped Abhishek Sharma's catch when he was on 4 and 30.

"Catches dropped, you're right. That was the turning point. When you're playing against good teams, you can't afford to give them opportunities. We missed a couple, and that cost us the game," he added.
