South Africa vs Pakistan 2nd T20I: Pakistan posted a huge total of 206/5 in their 20 overs in the second T20I match against South Africa at the SuperSport in Centurion on Friday, December 13.

Saim Ayub missed out on his maiden T20I hundred as he remained unbeaten on 98 runs which he scored on the back of 11 fours and five sixes.

After opting to bat first, Pakistan lost an early wicket as skipper Mohammad Rizwan departed for just 11 runs off Ottneil Baartman in the fourth over.

Ayub and Babar Azam then bailed Pakistan out of trouble and stitched an 87-run stand for the second wicket. Babar looked in great touch and smashed three fours and a six for his 31 runs in just 20 balls.

Pakistan then lost a couple of quick wickets as Usman Khan (3) and Tayyab Tahir (6) departed cheaply. Ayub kept going at the other end and shifted gears before he was joined by Irfan Khan in the middle.

The duo provided a remarkable finishing touch to Pakistan's innings. Ayub and Irfan added 73 runs in no time for the fifth wicket.

Irfan played a fiery cameo of 30 runs off just 16 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes. Abbas Afridi also made a quick contribution of 11 runs.

Ayub was unfortunate to remain out of strike during the end part of their innings and couldn't reach the triple-figure mark.

Pakistan, who lost the first match by 11 runs, came up with a change in their side while aiming to bounce back in the series. They brought in Jahandad Khan for Sufiyan Muqeem.

Talking about South Africa, debutant Dayyaan Galiem was the pick of the bowlers. He took two wickets for just 21 runs in his four overs, dismissing Usman Khan and Tayyab Tahir.

Ottneil Baartman took two wickets each whereas George Linde found a scalp as well.
