Pakistan vs South Africa 3rd T20I: Pakistan's star opener Sahibzada Farhan has found himself in the middle of a controversy once again for his controversial actions during their third and final T20I match at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday.

The controversy, which also involved the crowd, targeted the Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah. During South Africa's innings, Farhan was fielding near the boundary at that time. The fans tried the catch the batter's attention with derogatory remarks for Bumrah. Farhan seemed to validate the offensive chants by smiling and clapping.

Notably, Farhan and Bumrah came face-to-face during the recent Asia Cup T20 in the UAE, where the former became the first batter in the format's history to hit the star India pacer for three sixes in a match. On Saturday, a clip began doing the rounds on social media where the fans can be heard shouting "Bumrah ke abbu (Bumrah’s father)" even as Farhan clapped.

South Africa secured a victory in the first T20I in Rawalpindi by 55 runs, while Pakistan responded by winning the second match by nine wickets in Lahore. In the series decider, Babar hit three consecutive boundaries off Ottniel Baartman to achieve his 37th T20I half-century, marking his first in 13 innings.

Babar stitched a crucial 76-run stand with skipper Salman Agha (33) for the third wicket after the early dismissals of Saim Ayub (0) and Sahibzada Farhan (19).

Pakistan captain Salman Agha expressed satisfaction with the series comeback, stating, “I am happy with the come-from-behind series win. We were 1-0 down, so it was a great effort by the players to win the next two."
