India's star spinner Kuldeep Yadav recently visited the Melbourne Cricket Ground and was seen getting clicked with idol Shane Warne's statue while on a family vacation to Melbourne. Kuldeep, who shared a great camaraderie with Warne, revealed that he still becomes emotional when he talks about the legendary Australian cricketer's death.

"Shane Warne was my idol, and I had a very strong connection with him. I still get emotional when I think about Warne, It feels like I've lost someone from my family," he said.

Cricket Australia also gave Kuldeep a preview of Australia's upcoming summer and also showed the fans excitement as both India and Pakistan would be going down under for their respective Test series.

The Men in Blue would be locking horns with Australia for a five-match Border-Gavaskar Test series later this year. This is the first time that five Test matches would be played in this series. It should be noted here that Kuldeep Yadav would be playing a huge role for India, who will aim to complete a hat-trick of series win in Australia.

Talking about his excitement, he said, "It's great to be here at Cricket Australia's headquarters and the iconic MCG. I am looking forward to the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, and we are anticipating a great cricket contest between Australia and India this year."

"India cricket fans always support the team around the globe, and I am confident they will come in big numbers for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, especially during the Boxing Day Test", he concluded.

The 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy is all set to be held on November 22 in Perth. The Boxing Day Test would be held at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, which can turn out to be a blockbuster.
