SIX vs THU, Big Bash League 2024-25

Sydney Sixers will be up against Sydney Thunder in match 37 of the ongoing Big Bash League 2024-25 season at the iconic SCG on Friday, January 17.

This will be the second Sydney derby of the season. Sixers won the first game between both teams earlier in the season by 5 wickets at the Sydney Showground Stadium.

Both teams have qualified for the playoffs. The Sixers stand in the second position in the BBL points table whereas Thunder are placed third. It will be the last ground match for both teams this season.

Despite having qualified for the next round, this game holds a lot of value for both teams. The winner of this clash will finish the group stage in the top two and will make it to the Qualifier. The teams that finish in the top two get two chances of reaching the final.

 

TOSS: The match toss between Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunder will take place at 1:15 PM IST.

Time: January 17, 1:45 PM IST.
