The weight of history and statistics at Eden Gardens is against India, as chasing in Kolkata has proven notoriously burdensome.
The hosts hold a slim advantage, having once turned the tables with a successful 117-run chase in 2004. Due to the venue's unforgiving nature, only five teams have managed to breach their target in 30 attempts since 1934.
