India skipper Rohit Sharma received a special '200' jersey from legendary Sachin Tendulkar on playing his 200th IPL match for Mumbai Indians on Wednesday.

Former Mumbai Indians captain hit the milestone in the Indian Premier League (IPL) clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

Before the toss, Tendulkar paid tribute to Rohit's commitment to the Mumbai-based franchise and presented him with a special jersey for the landmark clash in the team huddle.

Rohit became the third player in the tournament to play 200 matches for the same franchise after Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bangalore) and MS Dhoni (Chennai Super Kings).

Overall, Rohit is taking the field in his 245th IPL game. Before the start of the tournament, Hardik Pandya replaced him as the captain of Mumbai Indians for the season.
