Suryakumar Yadav's Reaction On Jasprit Bumrah Attending Training Session Ahead Of Test Series Against Bangladesh Goes Viral, Says, 'Was Dying To See A Batting Image'

IND vs BAN: India's star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will be coming back to the national side for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh, which will begin next week. The Indian team had already started their training sessions at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium for this series.

Bumrah took to his official Instagram account and posted a few pictures from the training session.

Suryakumar Yadav, who is India's current T20I skipper also reacted to Bumrah's post and admitted that he always wanted to see an image of Bumrah batting. "Aahhhh was dying to see a batting image booooooom", he had written in the comment section.

It should be noted here that Bumrah would be returning to cricketing action after a long break. He was adjudged the Player of the Tournament in the 2024 T20 World Cup as he took 15 wickets after playing in eight matches at a brilliant economy rate of 4.17.

Star India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has showered huge praise on Jasprit Bumrah and also called him the most valuable Indian cricketer currently.

He emphasized on the treatment Bumrah got from the fans when he attended an event in Chennai.

"We Chennai people appreciate bowlers a lot. He was here for an event as a chief guest 4-5 days ago. We gave him a Rajni treatment. We (Chennai people) treat bowlers very nicely. He should be treated as a champion. I don’t want to name, but Jasprit Bumrah is the most valuable Indian cricketer right now", Ashwin was quoted as saying on Vimal Kumar's YouTube channel.

The two-match Test series against the Najmul Hossain Shanto-led side will be quite important for the Men in Blue as they aim to qualify for the WTC summit clash for the third consecutive time. They are the table toppers as they have 74 points and a PCT of 68.52.
