MI Emirates have defeated Sharjah Warriors by a massive margin of 106 runs to claim their third win of the season. They have extended their dominance at the top of the points table as they remain in the first position with six points under their belt, having won three out of their four matches so far.

They bowled Sharjah Warriors out for just 74 runs in the 12.1 overs and successfully defended the 181-run target.

Wicket! Another wicket goes down as Bravo takes his first of the match, removes Woakes for 0. Warriors are eight down now.

Sharjah Warriors: 61/8 (9)

Wicket! This seems to have gone out of hands for the Warriors as they are seven down now and that too inside the first 10 overs. Hosein is on fire as he takes three wickets in the over to put the hosts in a horrible situation. Denly departed for 6 runs followed by Hameed's wicket for 0 before he found Sams in front.

Sharjah Warriors: 56/7 (8)

Wicket! Warriors are in deep deep trouble here as they lose their fourth wicket inside the powerplay. Guptill is the latest to go as he heads back to the pavilion for 17 runs with Farooqi taking his first wicket of the match.

Sharjah Warriors: 47/4 (6)

Wicket! The promising-looking partnership has been broken as Boult strikes again. Dickwella has to head back to the pavilion as he found Tim David who made no mistake with the catch. Warriors are three down now.

Sharjah Warriors: 37/3 (4.2)

Wicket! There's another one as Boult catches it off his own bowling. He takes his first of the match in his first over. Kohler-Cadmore departs for 0 in his first ball as Warriors go two down.

Sharjah Warriors: 9/2 (2)

Wicket! Early success for Emirates while defending as Akeal Hosein removes Johnson Charles cheaply. He looked to drive it but the ball went through the bat and pad to crash onto the stumps. First wicket in the first over.

Sharjah Warriors: 3/1 (1)

MI Emirates have posted a challenging total of 180/7 in their 20 overs against Sharjah Warriors in Match 9 of the tournament. Kusal Perera and Andre Fletcher were the joint top scorers for Emirates as they both scored 42 runs each. They added 93 runs for the second wicket. For the Warriors, Muhammad Jawadullah was the pick of the bowlers for his three wickets whereas Chris Woakes, Daniel Sams, and Maheesh Theekshana took a wicket each as well.

MI Emirates: 180/7 (20)

Wicket! Sams strikes as he breaks the partnership and takes his first wicket of the match. David went for a cut but edged it to find the wicket-keeper Dickwella who made no mistake with the catch. David departs for 20 as Emirates go five down.

MI Emirates: 143/5 (17)

Wicket! Rayudu is the latest wicket to fall as he departs for 7. Emirates lost two wickets in an over bowled by Theekshana. Fletcher was clean bowled as the 93-run stand was broken. He departed for 42 runs. On the other hand, Kusal Perera was run out for 42 runs to give back-to-back success for the Warriors.

MI Emirates: 110/4 (13)

Things have turned completely opposite for Warriors after the early wicket as they have been struggling for success since then with Fletcher and Perera making a massive struggle for them. The partnership has been a fiery one as Emirates inch closer to the 100-run mark.

MI Emirates: 90/1 (9)

Fletcher and Perera are doing great with the partnership despite the early blow as they keep the scoreboard going. That was a massively expensive over from Madushanka as 21 runs came off it.

MI Emirates: 36/1 (4)

Wicket! Early success for Warriors as Woakes strikes in the very first over of the match. Waseem has to go for 0 with Denly making no mistake with the catch. Two runs came off the first over.

MI Emirates: 2/1 (1)

61m and 73m side boundaries. Never seen grass here and I have been coming here for about 30 years. I think this will start coming on to the bat batter. Pitch looks a belter.

We are prepared to bat first. We have a long way to go. You try to lead from the front as captain but it's important the seniors in the team perform as well and that's what has happened with our tream. Same team.

We are going to bowl first. Stats here tell you bowling first in UAE gives you a bit of advantage. It's the most grass I have ever seen here. Hopefully we will be able to get some early wickets. Early in the tournament so we are trying to find the combination. Qais Ahmad out for Joe Denly.
