T20 World Cup 2024: Rohit Sharma has played in every T20 World Cup and is all set to make his ninth appearance in the marquee tournament as he will be leading the side in the T20 World Cup 2024.
The T20 World Cup 2024 is set to be played in the West Indies and the USA and will kick on June 2 with a total of 20 teams fighting it out for the big prize.
Rohit also was a part of the Indian team that lifted the title in the tournament's inaugural edition in 2007 under MS Dhoni's captaincy.
As India gear up to end their long and frustrating wait for an ICC trophy, Rohit will have a chance to achieve multiple feats including a chance to become the first Indian player to win two T20 World Cups.

1st Indian to win two T20 World Cups: Rohit Sharma is the only active player who also was part of India's 2007 T20 WC-winning side.
If India manages to win the title this year, Rohit will become the first Indian captain to win two T20 World Cups.
This will be Rohit's second T20 World Cup as captain, having led the side in the 2022 edition where India suffered a defeat against England in the semi-final.
200 sixes in T20Is: Rohit Sharma is the player with most number of sixes in the T20I format, having smashed 190 maximums in 151 matches he has played so far.
He is just 10 sixes away from reaching 200 sixes in the shortest format.
600 sixes in international cricket: Rohit is known to be one of the most prolific six-hitters in world cricket and has 597 sixes to his name in 472 matches he has played for India across formats.
He stands on the cusp of becoming the first cricketer in the world to hit 600 sixes in international cricket. Former West Indies batter Chris Gayle is second on the list with 533 sixes to his name in 483 games.
Most T20I wins as Indian captain: Rohit Sharma has captained India in 54 T20I matches so far with the team winning 41 games under his leadership.
He is level with MS Dhoni's tally in the list of most wins by an Indian captain in the shortest format and a win in the T20 World Cup will make Rohit the most successful Indian captain in T20Is.
If India clinches all the matches in the T20 World Cup 2024, then Rohit will become the first Indian captain to win 50 T20Is.
Babar Azam holds the record for most wins as captain in T20Is with 46 victories as Pakistan skipper.
Most 100s in T20Is: Rohit Sharma has five T20Is to his name in the T20I format in 151 matches he has played so far in the format.
Rohit will surpass Glenn Maxwell (5) and will top the list individually if he scores a hundred in the T20 WC.
