During the tenure of Ravi Shastri as head coach, there used to be a strong camaraderie between former captain Virat Kohli and him, both on and off the cricket field. Notably, they have been instrumental in elevating Indian cricket to greater heights, often appearing to be in sync with each other's perspectives.

In a recently resurfaced old video circulating online, presumably filmed on the occasion of Holi, Kohli and Shastri are seated together in a team bus. The duo recorded messages for their fans, extending greetings for the festival of colors.

“Happy Holi everyone. Have a great day. Enjoy. Use less water and more colour," a smiling Kohli says to the camera. To which, Shastri seated alongside the cricketer says, “Use everything. Have an absolute blast. Happy Holi."

Hearing this, there was a burst of audible laughter from the team members aboard.

Kohli achieved a significant milestone, becoming the first Indian batsman to score 12,000 runs in T20 cricket. His remarkable journey includes 8 centuries and 91 fifties across various T20 competitions.

Within this impressive tally, Kohli's contribution to Indian cricket stands out, with 4037 runs amassed in T20 internationals for the national team, featuring one century. Additionally, he has showcased his batting prowess while representing his state team, Delhi, as well as franchises like Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore in domestic and franchise-based T20 tournaments.
