Ranji Trophy: Before his much-awaited Ranji Trophy return, India's star batter Virat Kohli was seen attending a training session in Mumbai. He was training with team India's ex-batting coach, who was with the team from 2014-2018. The video of him attending a training session went viral on social media.

In that video, Virat Kohli was seen working on his off-stump line as this was one issue, which gave him a hard time during the Test series against Australia. He had batted in nine innings of which touched the ball towards the slips or to the keeper eight times. The star India batter went through a lean patch after he smashed a century during the series opener in Perth and his woeful performance with the bat played a huge role in India losing the series to Australia.

The star India batter would be making a comeback to the Ranji Trophy after almost 12 years. Kohli would be playing in Delhi's last match against Railways. Although a lot of star Indian players did feature in the sixth round of the ongoing domestic tournament Kohli opted out owing to neck stiffness.

He was also seen talking to youngsters and even signed their bats. This video too went viral on social media.

Kohli's training under Sanjay Bangar lifted the hopes of the fans. Under Bangar's guidance during 2014-2018, Virat Kohli dominated world cricket. He had broken all records of the game. He had smashed tons of centuries in Test cricket but was also the standout batter during the  2016 T20 World Cup.
