Virat Kohli Batting Record In Vijay Hazare Trophy: Virat Kohli is all set to make his return to domestic cricket as he will be playing for Delhi in the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT), which is scheduled to start on December 24. Having left for home after the ODI series against South Africa, Virat will have a break of a few days before playing for India again.

Virat produced an incredible effort in the three-match series against the Proteas and was the top run-getter with 302 runs at an average of 151, hitting two centuries and a fifty. Talking about the VHT, Delhi have been placed in the Elite Group 'D' and will be opening their season against Andhra. Notably, the BCCI recently made it compulsory for contracted players to play domestic cricket when not engaged in national duty. Virat's confirmation to play in the Vijay Hazare Trophy came amid heavy speculations around his ODI future. The veteran batter remains just an ODI player, having retired from the T20I and Test formats.
