RCB vs CSK IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bengaluru's star batter Virat Kohli has finally reacted to the intense rivalry they share with CSK and the experience of playing this match in their backyard. RCB will lock horns with CSK yet again during their upcoming IPL 2025 clash and it is this game that has given so many memorable moments to the fans of both teams over the last few years.
Kohli has been playing in this intense match since the first season and talked about what makes this clash so exciting especially when it is being held at their home ground. During an interaction with JioHotstar, he revealed there are a lot of CSK fans, who come to the stadium and watch the match and they do occupy a large section.
He admitted that the atmosphere inside the stadium in this match was one of the most exciting ever.
“I would say one team that, historically, I’ve felt we’ve had the most intense games with is Chennai Super Kings in Bengaluru. Because in Chennai, of course, there are Chennai fans—it’s just yellow and CSK fans everywhere. But to play against CSK in Bengaluru is something else because a lot of Chennai fans come to Bengaluru. CSK fans travel in huge numbers, so they buy tickets very early and take over a section of the stadium. So, there’s an intense atmosphere inside the stadium in Bengaluru when playing against CSK. And then, obviously, the game also gets very intense and competitive. That environment is the most exciting I’ve been a part of,” he said.
'RCB face CSK to go top of the table'
The upcoming clash between RCB and CSK is quite important for the Rajat Patidar-led side as they will aim to become the table toppers of the points table. CSK have already been eliminated from the race to the playoffs and they will try to play for their pride.
The last time these two met this season, RCB defeated CSK in their backyard.
