Virat Kohli has looked in magnificent touch with the bat for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the ongoing IPL 2025. Kohli said that nothing has changed for him when it comes to batting in the T20 format despite having retired from the format.
Kohli opened up on his T20I retirement following the World Cup in 2024, saying there is a new set of players who are ready to take the mantle ahead.
"I donβt think things have changed for me in any way. The decision was taken purely understanding that there are a new set of players who are more than ready. And they need time. They need a two-year cycle to evolve, handle pressure, and play in different parts of the world. And play enough games to the point where, when the World Cup comes, they feel like weβre ready," Kohli said in a video shared by RCB on X.
