Preparations are in full swing for India's star spinner Kuldeep Yadav's wedding to his fiancée Vanshika in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 14. Kuldeep, who was part of India's recent T20 World Cup 2026 title win, is all set to unfold a new chapter in his personal life.
Ace Indian batter Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are likely to attend Kuldeep's wedding. As per reports, Mussoorie’s iconic Savoy Hotel is being decked up for the wedding, with both families and multiple cricketing stars, including Kohli, Rohit and India pacer Jasprit Bumrah, among the many VIP guests expected to grace the occasion. As per reports, the entire hotel has been booked for Kuldeep’s wedding and will remain unavailable for other guests for two to three days.
Notably, the 31-year-old Kuldeep Vanshika are childhood friends from Kanpur, where their families lived just three kilometres apart. Kuldeep's fiancée, Vanshika, is an administrative professional with the Life Insurance Corporation of India, having pursued her higher studies in Melbourne as well.
The couple, that has been together since Kuldeep's U-19 days, got engaged on June 4 in a traditional ceremony in Lucknow. The wedding, planned for November, was postponed because of Kuldeep’s commitments with the Indian team during the multi-format series against South Africa. Kuldeep has witnessed an impressive past few months in his cricketing career as he won the second T20 World Cup of his career, with India beating New Zealand in the final in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
However, India’s tactical rotation meant Kuldeep featured only in one game, making a notable impact in the group-stage clash against Pakistan, where he delivered a tight spell of 1/14 in three overs.
Talking about Virat Kohli, he recently began his preparations for the upcoming IPL 2026, with videos of the former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain training in the nets going viral on social media. In a reel shared on Instagram by Kohli, the 37-year-old was seen working intensively during a practice session. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma was seen enjoying holidays, having reached Maldives a few days after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup 2026.
