India's batting superstar Virat Kohli created history on Sunday by shattering legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most centuries by an Indian batter on Australian home soil.

In a remarkable achievement, Kohli reached a milestone 30th Test century on the third day of the first Test of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy at Optus Stadium in Perth.

The Indian batting stalwart scored seven centuries in Australia, a feat that places him second only to the legendary Jack Hobbs in the history of cricket. Furthermore, Kohli has also set an all-time record for the most hundreds scored by an overseas batter against Australia in Australia across all formats.
