Virat Kohli's Unseen Viral Video: It has been just over a month since Virat Kohli and the Indian cricket team faced a devastating defeat in the ICC ODI World Cup final against Australia at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium.

As the calendar marks a new year, with hope for new beginnings and better results for the Indian cricket team in 2024, some fans are still finding it hard to overcome the heartbreak of November 19.

India had one of the most impressive campaigns in World Cup history, securing victories against all the other nine opponents, only for the title to slip away in the final showdown against Pat Cummins' Australia. Playing on their home ground and considered top contenders, India's unbeaten streak of 10 wins in the tournament came to an unexpected end.

Kohli showed impressive form in the knockout stages of the tournament, scoring a match-winning century (117 runs) against New Zealand, and he followed it up with a 54-run stand in the final that did not turn out to be enough to stop the mighty Australian side, leading to a disheartening six-wicket defeat.

In a poignant moment captured in an unseen video that went viral on social media, Virat Kohli appeared visibly dejected after the World Cup final concluded. As Australian players celebrated their victory on the field, Kohli silently walked towards the stumps and disturbed the bails with his cap.

Kohli had an outstanding individual performance throughout the tournament, including three centuries and six half-centuries, India's collective efforts fell short in the crucial final match. Kohli earned the Player of the Tournament for his all-time best performance on the biggest stage.

Kohli's tally of 765 runs in 11 matches, with an astonishing average of 95.62, earned him the distinction of having the most runs in a single World Cup edition, breaking the record of legendary Sachin Tendulkar.

It is yet to be seen if it was Kohli's last World Cup, but the batter gave his all in the tournament that was just not meant to be.
