NZ vs PAK ICC Champions Trophy 2025: New Zealand's star all-rounder Glenn Phillips took one of the best catches in the history of the ongoing mega-event as his catch helped the team dismiss Pakistan skipper Mohammed Rizwan on Wednesday. Rizwan came into bat at the no.3 position and scored as many runs as Phillips took the stunning catch and got him out.

Phillips stuns Pakistan with an incredible grab

The incident happened in the 10th over of the second innings where Rizwan was trying to stitch a partnership with Babar Azam after Saud Shakeel's wicket. New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner decided to bring in William O'Rourke for another over and this decision worked for them as the pacer dismissed Rizwan at a crucial juncture.

O'Rourke bowled a lengthy delivery which went over the wicket. After Rizwan observed the width, he opened his arms and decided to go big. He mistimed the shot as Phillips dove towards his left and took the stunning one-handed catch.
