Ranji Trophy: A video had gone viral on social media, which reckoned that Hardik Pandya fans were seen harassing Rohit Sharma in the Ranji Trophy match against Jammu and Kashmir. There was some offensive and shameful slang used for the India captain, who was playing in the Ranji Trophy clash against Jammu and Kashmir.

But a lot of fans had revealed that the video was edited and the audio had been taken from some other video. Rohit is seen walking in the corridor in the video but the audio was recorded when the fans weren't allowed in the restricted area where Rohit Sharma was walking.

Pandya-Rohit rift during IPL

There were offensive comments made in the background, which according to the video were made by Hardik Pandya fans. This incident reminds everyone of the rift rumors, which started at the IPL last year after Hardik became the captain of Mumbai and thus replaced five-time IPL winner Rohit Sharma.

Lots of controversies erupted in those two months as the fans visibly bullied Hardik in almost all their matches. But after some time both Rohit and Pandya ended these speculations by making constant on-field appearances.

With fans mistakenly sharing such videos only creates more confusion and gives rise to unnecessary controversies.
