IND vs ENG: Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was seen practicing at the nets in an intense practice session after his woeful performance in the recently concluded five-match Test series against Australia. He scored just 31 runs in the three Test matches that he played and couldn't contribute significantly with the bat even during the home Test series against New Zealand and Bangladesh.

To prepare for the upcoming home ODI series against England and the 2025 Champions Trophy, the Indian captain posted a video of himself smashing the ball at all corners of the net. It should be noted here that he did so in front of his fellow Mumbai Indians teammates, who watched all this action from behind the stumps.

Tilak Varma seemingly studies master's at work

Rohit Sharma brought out his beast mode at the practice session as he was hitting the ball to all corners of the park by playing brilliant pull shots. He had posted the video on his official social media account on Friday.

It should be noted here that Rohit Sharma's teammate Tilak witnessed all of this in front of him.

Tilak Varma was last seen in action in team India's record-breaking T20I series win against South Africa. The star batter had scored match-winning hundreds against the Proteas and would aim to repeat his heroics in the three-match T20I series against England under the captaincy of Surya Kumar Yadav.

At the same time, Rohit Sharma is gearing up for the 2025 Champions Trophy and he will be playing in the three-match ODI, which will be held next month.
